Finally...an update!

Hello y'all! Just updating on what I made while I was offline. Here is a CUTE teddy bear hat I made for the daughter of a dear friend. She sent me $ to help with my little problem and I just can't accept money like that...I have to feel I earned it so I made this hat for her daughter. I absolutely LOVE this pattern and I'm so glad I practiced and practiced to make it awesome! Not to toot my own horn but DANG...TOOT TOOT! LOL! If interested in one for your daughter or son...contact me. I sell these for $25 I make them with a flower for the girls and a start for the boys. The boys one can also be plain for $20. You pick the colors (2).

I also made this Hello Kitty hat for my Lizzie. Actually I had made it for the daughter of another friend...but since Lizzie started crying...well...I just had to make another for my friend. ;) I know her daughter loves Hello Kitty so why not right? Now I'll just have to finish my cards from her swap so I can send it off...lol. Hope she likes!

Next and that'll be it for now is Sock Monkey Jack...my new buddy! This monkey is always with me...in bed...on my desk...when I sit on the couch! Awwww! He is a bit naughty though...you wouldn't believe the things that come out his mouth on Twitter! :O Yes...he has his own Twitter. But since he's grounded...he hasn't updated...lol. Can you believe I came up with this pattern from an existing pattern but for a smaller version? Yeah...and I'm still considered a beginning with my few months under my belt. LOL! I'll be offering up this pattern to the first 5 people who contact me that wants it...after that I'll be selling it for $3.

Somebunny Is Loved

Hey! During my stay on the couch taking home remedies for my swollen tonsils...I have been in a crochet frenzy! First I wanna show you this cutie! Diabetics beware! I just had to try this bunny from the book Amigurumi World...Seriously Cute Crochet by Ana Paula Rimoli. Indeed the patterns in this book are cute!

I made this current cutie for the daughter of my soul sistah...Angie of My Boat! Eons ago I made this beanie hat for her when I first began crocheting...or experimenting with crocheting...and now I knew I had to make a bunny for her since it is close to Easter and what not! I even made a matching beanie for the bunny...except in a different color of course!

Well...thanks for looking! I'll post LV's little girl that I finally finished soon! I even made a top hat for it...lol...with a feather and all! :D Now that I'm feeling a bit better from my tonsils and don't have to take that much pain meds...I'll be back to stamping too...that's my first love. They yarn however keeps calling to me! LOL!

Meet my NEW friends!

Hello all! Just wanted to show you what I have been making! These little alien dudes are going to 2 little special boys born to my soul sistah! :P I truly hope they like it! I found the pattern online and HAD to make them! Now what to make for little Angel Baby! Hmmmm!

Meet here Eke Eke and Uok Uok...brothers from planet Nubia. LOL! My DS is a "out of the world" freak...so he named them and even made up their little planet. I'll have to make them little certificates to go with them...lol! I just find that adorable of my son. He's so creative! I wonder where he gets it from though? LMBO!

Next I will tackle the hedgehog I wanna conquer! The "curly back" looks CRAZY to make...and the explanations alone say so...lol...but I shall defeat it! If I'm not back within a month or two...call the crochet police as I may have been taken hostage by the Amigurumi people I have half made! HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah...LV's Little Big Planet Sack Girl is suppose to be done because it's gonna be a gift for her 14th birthday on Monday...YES...THIS MONDAY THE 1ST and she's still missing her legs and an arm! :O And I STILL have to work on a card for her! I'll never live it down if I forget a card! Then my son's birthday is on the 5th...oh boy I'm in trouble! Hopefully these tonsils let me take on tasks I need to complete!

Monster/Alien

Call it what you will...lol...but he was one of my creations for Christmas gifts. The recipient LOVED it. He wouldn't let go of it...lol. His mom tried putting it away so he wouldn't lose it and he would cry...lol. THAT made me smile from ear to ear because that was my intended purpose...for the little guy to like his present. Every recipient loved their little crochet pal... :D I got the pattern for this guy from Lion Brand Yarn. I made him my own though. He's suppose to have 3 legs but I went with no legs just to take it easy on my hands. Making those small legs and arms can be dificult when you're having wrist pain.

My NEW Venture

Hello all and welcome to my new little venture! I hope you enjoy your visits. I currently have this blog by invite only and as private because I just want a close gathering of those who will actually enjoy my work and maybe would want to purchase any of my work? Maybe when I'm more secure about my work I'll share publicly.

Anywho...I'm so glad you asked for a request to join. I look forward to entertaining you with my crocheting work and maybe hook (yes...pun intended) some of you into crocheting yourself. I'll be adding patterns as time goes and I try them out.

First I want to share a cupcake I made using a pattern by anapaulaoli on Etsy! She has some AMAZING crochet patterns and I intend to own them all one day and try them all out! I found a new love in crocheting and especially Amigurumi.
